Kenneth A. Marks

Senior Master Sergeant (R) Kenneth Marks passed away very suddenly on February 22, 2014 and was laid to rest at Riverside California National Veterans Cemetery on March 7, 2014, with full Military Honors. Kenny was a veteran of WW II and also served during the Korean and Vietnam Conflicts. Kenny was an active member and past National Office holder of the China Burma India (CBI) Association. He was also a member of the Purple Heart (PH) Society and was on the Executive Board of the Inland Empire Distinguished Flying Cross (DFC) Society in Riverside, CA

There is a Memorial Site dedicated to recipients of the DFC at March Field in Riverside. Kenny’s name is inscribed at the base of the Memorial.

Kenny will be remembered for his dedication to his bride Pearl, who survives him, his relationship to Murray P. Koch who he worked for and with, his participation in the National SAFE Association, his commitment to exceptional H. Koch & Sons aircrew protection products, his friendship and mentoring of many young Airmen, and mostly for his infectious laugh! Kenny could really light up the Koch Suite during Life Support Meetings and Conferences.

Kenny was the recipient of the SAFE 1974 MP Koch award in recognition of those members of industry who have made significant contributions in the advancement of hardware for safety and survival applications.
