SMSgt (Ret) Clifford Laster
1947 – 2020
Clifford “Las” Laster, age 72, of Fairborn, Ohio passed away peacefully on February 20, 2020. He was born April 14, 1947, in Winter Haven Florida to the late James and Mamie Lou Laster.
Las was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. Las was an amazing man who made sure first and foremost that his family was taken care of, he loved his family and wife Anne “Miss Willie” to death. He never met a stranger and was loved by everyone. He was a loving spirit that had no hatred towards anyone and always gave people a chance. You would find him with a smile on his face always. He loved spending his time fishing- and to all my fishing buddies, now you have a chance to catch up. Las was an amazing man but to most, he was a great man and he will truly be remembered for that. Las served 26 years in the United States Air Force, where he retired honorably as a Senior Master Sergeant.
In addition to his parents, Las was preceded in death by his wife, Anne Laster.
Las is survived by his children, Nyree (Bruce) McGlothin and Matthew (Cindy) Laster; grandchildren, Devan, Jason, Ty, Dominique, and Breauna; brothers, Edward L. Laster (Patricia)- Ocala, FL and Mark A. Laster(LaTanga) – Winter Haven, FL, two sisters, Lutricia Mae Glenn(Eugene) – Winter Haven, FL, and Brenda J. Cameron(Elroy)-Winter Haven, FL. Many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in his honor to the National Kidney Foundation (Kidney.org).
