Master Sergeant Bobby Joe Pritchard

Mr. Pritchard was born in Temple to Paul Pritchard and Nophia Sanders Pritchard. He married Wilma Stewart Nov. 17, 1960. He served in the U.S. Air Force for twenty years having served in Vietnam and earned the Distinguished Flying Cross. He crossed trained into Aircrew Life Support after he started out as a Flight Engineer on the C-119 Gunships. Bob was NCOIC of the 18 TRS Life Support in 1975-1978 at Shaw AFB, SC. Bob retired from the United States Air Force in 1980. He is survived by his wife of 54 Years, Wilma, and four sons. After his Air Force Career, he was a farmer and delivered the Temple Daily Telegram for over thirty three years. He had driven a school bus for Academy Schools and had worked for Montgomery Ward and King’s Daughters Hospital. He lived in Reeds Lake his entire life.
Survivors include his wife Wilma Pritchard of Reeds Lake; four sons Bobby Dean Pritchard of Reeds Lake, Gregory Pritchard of Little Rock, Arkansas, Michael Pritchard of Reeds Lake and Bruce Pritchard of Reeds Lake and four grandchildren. Bob was buried Friday March 6, 2015 at Reeds Lake Cemetery
