Frank Provenzano

 

Retired TSgt. Frank Provenzano, 90, of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away on December 27, 2021. On November 7, 1931, Frank was born to Ralph Eugene and Mary Provenzano in Ozone Park, New York. He joined the US Air Force in 1952 and retired in 1975. He met and married his spouse, Mary Frances Muller, and the mother of his five children, in New York in 1955. Frank and Mary were married for 66 years. Frank specialized in aircrew life support during his career with the US Air Force. After retiring from the US Air Force Frank began his second career with the US Bureau of Reclamation working initially as a tour guide at Hoover Dam and then as a warehouse supervisor. He retired from the US Bureau of Reclamation in 1987. Frank then began his third career as a volunteer. He was recognized for his volunteerism by numerous organizations.

Frank was predeceased by his parents Ralph and Mary, his brother John, his sisters Dorothy, Helen, Mary, and Ann Marie, and his son, John. He is survived by his wife Mary, his sister Madeline, his sons James, Paul, Peter, his daughter Bernadette, his daughter in laws Joanne, Dorothy, and Cami, his son-in-law Earl, his grandchildren Jenny Lyn (Fred), Laura (Domhnall), Rebecca, Michael, and his great-grandchild Anne.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, January 25th at 11:00 a.m. at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 5485 E. Charleston Blvd followed by viewing from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Bunkers Eden Value Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. A service will be held on Wednesday, January 26th at the chapel at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery at 1900 Veterans Memorial Drive, Boulder City, NV at noon, followed by a graveside burial service.
